Bund walkway to be spruced up

THE northern part of the sightseeing walkway along the Bund has been closed for renovations, Wenhui Daily reported today.
The section from Huangpu Park to Hankou Road has been closed and later the south section from Hankou Road to Xinkaihe Road will be closed.
The Huangpu Park to Nanjing East Road section is expected to be open again in October.
The whole project will be finished before the Shanghai World Expo.
