Bus driver hit

A drunken man punched a bus driver on Sunday night because he didn't like the temperature of the air conditioning, police said yesterday. The bus driver suffered a swollen nose but was in stable condition, doctors said. The middle-aged man got on a No. 921 bus at Zhongshan Park Station, then complained about the heat and shouted at the female driver surnamed Zhu to adjust the air. Zhu changed the air conditioner but the man was still unsatisfied. The man eventually rushed and punched Zhu, causing her nose to bleed. Angered passengers then stopped him from further violence and called police. The suspect apologized and compensated Zhu, claiming he was drunk.
