Bus in pole crash

DOZENS of passengers were injured in a road accident in which a bus crashed into a electrical pole yesterday in Yangpu District. The crash happened about 9:20am at the intersection of Changyang Road and Liaoyang Road.
After suddenly braking, the right side of the bus hit the pole, said witnesses. Six people were taken to hospital for treatment. Others were reported to have sustained less severe injuries. Meanwhile, also yesterday morning, about 13 people were injured in a two-truck-collision, in Pudong. The injured were in stable condition, said officials.
