Buses to display temperature

THE temperature inside buses is to be displayed on a board, along with the date and bus stops, the Shanghai Transportation and Port Management Bureau said yesterday.
The announcement came after fears that the thermometers inside buses would break down in summer when the buses park under the scorching sun without the air conditioning turned on. Some buses have already been equipped with the new boards.
