Cabbie killed when car tumbled on highway

A Shanghai taxi driver was killed last night when his car bounced from a guardrail and flipped on a highway near the Pudong International Airport, local media reported today.
The 41-year-old cabbie surnamed Zhang was hit in the head when his car rolled on the road at about 6:30pm yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene after medical staff arrived. Zhang was the only person in the car.
The accident also caused brief congestion in the area until the crashed car was pulled away an hour later.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
