Cabinets fail quality tests

SOME disinfection cabinets made by Sacon Group failed quality tests for discharging excessive amounts of ozone, the Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau said.

The national standard for ozone is 0.2 milligrams per cubic meter 20 centimeters from the surface of the cabinets. Higher levels can lead to respiratory tract irritation, headaches and breathing difficulties, according to doctors.
