City’s public transit app recommends Metro, bus routes

Shanghai’s traffic authorities launched an app that offers route and transfer information covering 13 Metro lines and 1,290 public bus routes in the city.
Users of the Shanghai Public Transportation App can input the starting point and destination and a few recommend routes will be provided. It also points out surrounding facilities include bus stops, schools and hospitals.
Currently, the app can be downloaded only by phones using the Android system, and no English version is available.
