A strong cold snap will hit the city early this morning. The maximum temperature will drop by eight to 10 degrees Celsius within two days, weathermen said yesterday.
The extreme low temperatures during the cold wave is expected to appear early on Wednesday, when the temperature will be 2 to 3 degrees in the downtown area, and near 0 in the suburbs.
The maximum temperature will drop to 9 degrees tomorrow after today's high of 14 degrees, but the mercury will climb back to 14 degrees after Wednesday, forecasters said.
