Cold front means rainy week ahead
RAINY weather is expected today, along with a slight drop in temperature, as a cold front sweeps over the city from the north.
Today will be cloudy with some drizzle and temperatures ranging from 8 to 11 degrees Celsius. But the rain is expected to stop tomorrow, weatherman said. Tomorrow will be cloudy but the temperature will start to climb. The low will be 8 degrees and the high about14 degrees.
Thursday's high is expected to reach 20 degrees. More rain will fall on Friday and the temperature will drop a little.
The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau issued the year's first yellow-level lightning alert on Saturday. Thunder and showers hit the city about 11pm and brought down temperatures.
