Cold snap ahead for weekend

AFTER today's balmy high of 19 degrees Celsius, temperatures will plummet to about 1 degree on Saturday morning, Shanghai weathermen said.
Drizzle is expected later today and a cold front will chill the city tomorrow with gales and rain, according to Shanghai Meteorological Bureau today.
Tomorrow will be still warm, between 12 and 16 degrees. More rain is forecast on Thursday and Friday, with cloud on Saturday.
Yesterday's highest temperature was 18.5 degrees at Baoshan District.
