Cold snap soon, say forecasters
A COLD snap is due to hit the city soon, with maximum temperatures during the approaching Mid-Autumn Festival plunging by 6 to 7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be around 23 degrees, forecasters said yesterday.
Before then, however, the highs will linger between 32 to 33 degrees until Tuesday, with lows between 25 to 27 degrees, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said. After a cloudy Monday and Wednesday, a thunderstorm will hit the city along with the temperature drop on Wednesday.
