Cold, wet weather is on the way

THE mercury will fall to 2 degrees Celsius in the downtown area this week due to a strong cold front from the north, forecasters said, and rain is expected from tomorrow to Thursday.

Today it will be cloudy with the temperature climbing to a high of 21 degrees from a low of 10 degrees.

There will be light pollution this morning, but the air quality is expected to improve this afternoon, and range from good to excellent for most of this week due to favorable atmospheric conditions.

A strong cold front will bring down the temperature down to a low of 10 degrees from a high of 14 degrees tomorrow.

The temperature will further drop on Wednesday to a low of 7 degrees and reach a high of 9 degrees.

Thursday will see the temperature rise to 7 degrees with some drizzle.
