Community Gets Pressure Back
AS water from the Qingcaosha Reservoir reached more households yesterday, water supplies returned to normal in a Pudong community that suffered water shortages for nearly a month due to the construction of the Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center.
Hundreds of families in the Shanggang No. 9 residential community have had low water pressure which -prevented them from taking showers since last month, after a nearby water plant was shut down to make way for the center. The new reservoir has resolved the issue.
