THE time between trains on Shanghai Metro's Line 2 resumed to the original 3.5 minutes during morning rush hours yesterday, relieving congestion on some busy stations along the line.
The subway operator had prolonged the interval time to 4 minutes and 39 seconds a week ago in a temporary measure to accommodate tests of the signal system after the line had been extended eastward.
