Crane hits van

A driver was injured after his van was hit by a crane at the corner of Pusan Road and Shangnan Road, where the traffic light was out, about 6am yesterday. After hitting the van, the crane lost control and smashed into two stores. The van driver suffered rib and leg fractures. One store owner said she saw the crane speeding and crash into the van when its driver braked too late. She also said the traffic light had been out of service for three days, posing a great hazard to traffic safety.
