Electric bus stop

A NEW charging station for electric buses has opened on Shuangliu Road. The facility is the third of its kind in the city and will provide power for a fleet of 40 new-style buses recently put into service on the Nos. 71 and 825 routes. The new vehicles can run for more than 100 kilometers on a single three- to four-hour charge. That equates to about four return journeys on the No. 825 route. The city’s two other charging stations are on Gaoke Road West and Neijiang Road.
