Expensive Line 16 ride

Metro users will have to shell out 15 yuan (US$2.47), the highest ticket price on the network, once Line 16 gets operational by the year end.
The price of a Metro ticket now ranges from 3 to 11 yuan, depending on the distance. The current longest ride is on Line 11 — Huaqiao Station to Pudong International Airport.
