Extra trains
THE city’s railway authority said it will add “about 20” trains to the schedule over the coming month to help meet the demand from people taking short breaks. The trains will run to Hefei in Anhui Province and Cangnan in Zhejiang Province, both of which are in east China. Other popular destinations are Hangzhou in Zhejiang and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. Tickets for high-speed trains leaving Shanghai up until April 17 are on sale now, it said.
