Fine week forecast ... but rain today

THERE will be a wet start to the week today with rain and the possibility of thunder, forecasters said yesterday.
But it will dry up tomorrow, and most of the week will be fine and mild, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
After scattered overnight showers, rain is forecast over the whole city today with thundery spells and temperatures dipping from yesterday to around 24 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures will climb to 28 degrees tomorrow under cloudy skies, while the remainder of the working week will be fair with a mix of sunshine and cloud, said the bureau.
Between Wednesday and Friday, the high will range from 24 to 26 degrees. Lows will be around 17 and 19 degrees.
Solar term xiaoman — literally “grain buds” — falls on Thursday and traditionally heralds hot, humid days to ripen crops.
