Fire Curtain Fall Was False Alarm. Or Not.

A false fire alarm or a worker's mishandling might have caused the fall of a fire curtain on Sunday morning in the newly opened Terminal 2 at Hongqiao International Airport, according to an initial investigation.
Sections of the curtain fell to the ground in a transit hall linking Metro Line 2 with Terminal 2. No one was injured. The device, a large canvas screen fixed to the ceiling, is to be lowered in event of a fire to prevent the blaze from spreading.
