First snows due in city tomorrow
THE first snow this winter is expected tomorrow, caused by the latest cold front, Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.
Under the influence of the cold front from the north and the wet and warm air streams from the south, sleet and snow should appear, but will not last long. Low temperatures could plunge to freezing on Thursday and Friday. The city may enter the meteorological winter this week.
