A VIDEO camera battery caught fire on an Air China flight from Beijing to Shanghai on Wednesday, but air crew extinguished the flames quickly, the airline said yesterday.
Air attendants smelled something burning and noticed smoke from the luggage compartment of flight CA1549 on Wednesday afternoon. They discovered the smoke was coming from a burning lithium battery of a video camera.
