Fog Disrupts Shipping And Flights

FOG caused traffic problems in the city yesterday, with flights and shipping the worst hit.
More than 150 vessels, including a container ship and ferries, were affected yesterday at Yangshan Deep-Water Port, the city's biggest harbor, where visibility was down to 200 meters, maritime safety officials said.
Ferry services between Zhejiang Province and the Yangshan port were canceled. Ferries to local islands were not affected, however.
More than 30 flights from Shanghai were delayed or canceled. Most were to southern China cities.
