Forecasters call for chance of showers tonight

There is a chance of showers or thundershowers tonight, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said today as it predicted grey skies and wet weather for most of the week.

Forecasters said tomorrow’s high will hit 24 degrees Celsius but drop to the mid teens on Thursday. The mercury will claw its way to 18 degrees on Friday but dip to 16 on Saturday. Lows between Thursday and Saturday will range from 9 to 11 degrees.

The gray skies are forecast to clear up this weekend.
