Full Line 3 service again

METRO Line 3 resumed full services yesterday after four stations that had been closed since February 16 reopened. Jiangyang Road N, Tieli Road, Youyi Road and Baoyang Road stations had been out of action while the North Jiangyang Road depot was being extended to make room for 35 new trains set to arrive in the second half of the year. With the reopening of the stations, the shuttle bus service taking passengers from Shuichan Road Station — the temporary northern terminus for Line 3 — to final destinations will end. Work are also underway to increase capacity of the northern section of the line.
