Gas pipe breaks

THOUSANDS of residents were left unable to cook or take a hot shower yesterday after a gas pipe fractured in Minhang District. City gas emergency workers were called out at 10pm on Thursday. Supplies were cut off about 1am yesterday for repairs, and resumed about 12 hours later.
