Gas prices down

IT will cost about 6 yuan (90 US cents) less to fill the oil tanks of cars from today as the national economic planner announced cuts in refined oil prices across China. Gasoline and diesel prices were lowered by 115 yuan and 150 yuan per ton. The ceiling retail price at city gas stations for 92-octane gasoline is now 5.9 yuan per liter from 6.01 yuan while 95-octane gasoline has dropped to 6.27 yuan from 6.4 yuan per liter. Zero-grade diesel now sells at 5.49 yuan, down from 5.62 yuan.
