Get those umbrellas out this week

WET and cloudy days will hit Shanghai this week due to a cold front and Typhoon Megi that will land in southeast China around Wednesday, forecasters said yesterday.
Short-term showers are expected today with the top temperature set to remain at 30 degrees Celsius.
An inshore breeze will then bring more rain from the east, while a cold front will cool down the city to temperatures no higher than 25 degrees around Thursday, Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
Downpours are also expected after Wednesday with the impact of both the cold front as well as the periphery of Typhoon Megi, the 17th typhoon of this year, said Zhuang Yan, a forecaster with the bureau.
The city’s temperature rose to 29 degrees yesterday thanks to plenty of sunshine, but the temperature dropped quickly after the sunset to as low as 22 degrees.
The bureau reminded citizens to put on more clothes after sunset.
Typhoon Megi is expected to make landfall in the coastal areas of Fujian and Guangdong provinces around Wednesday.
