Gloomy week of rain ahead
KEEP your umbrellas handy, because weathermen said yesterday that it's going to be a wet week.
Intermittent drizzle will fall from today to Thursday. Skies will be overcast or cloudy. Wednesday will be especially wet, with rain falling steadily throughout the day, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
The temperature will not change much during the week. The maximum will range between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius, with lows of 3 to 5 degrees. The gloomy weather is expected to come to an end on Friday as a cold front sweeps in from the north, clearing away the rain but bringing lower temperatures.
The minimum temperature will drop to around freezing over the weekend, with the maximum around 5 degrees.
People should wrap up warm as it's easy to catch a cold in such wet and cold weather, said the bureau.
