SCORCHING weather is set to return next week with temperatures predicted to reach around 35 degrees Celsius.
This weekend should be sunny with cloudy spells, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau. A thunderstorm is expected early next week and sunshine should follow. Today, the high temperature will be 24 degrees, and the mercury could reach 32 degrees on Wednesday. The low will be between 18 and 21 degrees, forecasters said. In the second half of the week, temperatures will climb to 35 degrees.
