Heavy fog grounds flights, suspends ships

HEAVY fog that began to shroud the city late yesterday continued to ground flights at the Pudong International Airport this morning.
More than 150 international flights were delayed and about 20 flights had to land at the Hongqiao International Airport, airport officials said.
The fog has been hanging over the Pudong airport since last night.
Meanwhile, hundreds of ships stayed in port due to low visibility, according to Shanghai Port authorities.
