Holidays combine for extra-long break this year

THE National Day golden week and the Mid-Autumn Festival will be combined to make an eight-day holiday this year. The holiday will run from October 1 to 8.
People will be required to work on September 27 and October 10. People working on October 1, 2, 3 and 6 are expected to be paid three times their usual daily wage.
Those who work on the other days of the holiday will get double pay or receive compensation leave.
