Hotel rooms to be hot-wired to world fair info
LOCAL hotel rooms will soon be connected to Shanghai Daily.
In cooperation with the Wenhui Xinmin United Press Group, computers installed in hotel rooms will provide tour information and news before the 2010 World Expo. Guests will also be able to connect with the online version of the group's newspapers, including Shanghai Daily.
Developed by the Zhejiang-based CnWisdom Technical Co Ltd, the platform is expected to provide information on hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, daily news and the latest Expo information.
Chinese and English versions have been developed, while Japanese and Korean versions are on the way.
The company has already signed contracts with Howard Johnson, Ramada and Pullman Hotel Shanghai.
