Inter-city card

SHANGHAI residents may in future be able to use their transport cards to travel on public transport in some neighboring cities. The state construction authority said it is considering a project for such a service in some Chinese cities, possibly also including a shopping function. Shanghai and some cities in neighboring provinces are set to be first to offer the service.
