It will rain but the air will be clean

BRACE for more wet weather this weekend with temperatures ranging between 13 to 16 degrees Celsius, forecasters said.
The grey and wet weather will continue until Monday, with highs ranging between 18 and 19 degrees and lows around 14 degrees. There will be a respite from rain on Tuesday and the highs are set to climb to 21 degrees on Wednesday, forecaster said.
The Air Quality Index was around 50 yesterday and environmental authorities expect cleaner air over the weekend.
It was heavily polluted in the early hours yesterday, but the air quality index dropped to the lowest level of 33 at noon. It touched around 50 later in the day and the generally cleaner air is expected to stay put over the weekend, forecasters said.
