Jinshan issues tourist vouchers

JINSHAN District will distribute 2 million yuan (US$292,660) worth of discount tourist coupons to office workers and residents in Huangpu District in downtown Shanghai.
The coupons, the first issued by the district, will be distributed by the Jinshan District Tourism Bureau and can be used in Fengjing ancient town and the China Peasant Painting Village, Jiefang Daily reported today.
The coupons are valid until the end of June. Travelers can enjoy discounts of up to 40 percent for admissions, boat trips and at some restaurants.
From May the district will promote the two-day "Golden Trip of Shanghai" in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces and Huangpu. The initial character of both districts means gold in Chinese.
