Keep an umbrella at hand
RAIN will hit Shanghai today and the temperature will dive more than seven degrees Celsius to 25 degrees.
The rain will stop tomorrow and temperatures will begin rising again. From Thursday temperatures will be back above 30 degrees. The peak for the week is expected to be around 32 degrees, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
There were only seven rainy days in May this year, a 40 percent drop from the previous year. But the average temperature in May was 22.1 degrees, 2.4 degrees above the previous years' average.
Yesterday it was humid and overcast with the temperature hitting 32.1 degrees.
