Line 10 work begins

CONSTRUCTION of Metro Line 10’s northern extension began this week, which will extend the route to the Pudong New Area and interchange with Line 6 at Gangcheng Road in future.
The extension will have one stop, Guofan Road, after its current southern terminus at New Jiangwan Town in Puxi. It will then cross the Huangpu River to stations on Shuangjiang Road, Gaoqiao, West Gaoqiao, Gangcheng Road and Jilong Road in Pudong. The section is scheduled to be completed by 2017.
