Longer Line 13 lucky for some

THE new extension to Metro Line 13, running from Jiangning Road to Expo Avenue, will go into service before the end of the month, the subway operator said yesterday.
The longer line will feature nine new stations, several of which provide access to the city’s tourist sites and business areas, including Jade Buddha Temple, the Natural History Museum and Xintiandi, it said.
The extension also incorporates a section between Madang Road and Expo Avenue, which has been out of use since the 2010 World Expo.
