Man examined

CITY police said the man who allegedly beat and seriously injured a female bus driver underwent a mental examination yesterday to decide whether he will be held responsible for the attack. The man, 33, is said to have hit the driver on May 13. The result is expected to be released on Monday. The man said he took drugs to treat depression. Meanwhile, another man hit a bus driver in the face yesterday after he took the wrong bus about 5:30pm in the Pudong New Area. He was taken by the police and asked to pay the driver's medical bill.
