Metro Line 15 draws nearer

Metro Line 15 is undergoing a second round of environmental evaluation from today, meaning that the project will be put out to tender soon. The 42-kilometer north-south line will have 30 underground stations in the city’s western area, going through Baoshan, Putuo, Changning, Xuhui and Minhang districts. It will have terminal stations at Gucun Park (with an interchange to Line 7) in Baoshan District and Zizhu Hi-Tech Park in Minhang. Construction is due to start next year.
