THE under-construction Metro Line 14 has introduced an “indoor construction site” — an enclosed workspace — at its Yuanshen Road Station in Pudong to cut air pollution and noise.
The site is near the intersection of Pudong Avenue and Yuanshen Road. It can cut dust pollution and reduce noise in the nearby area from 90 decibels to 40.
