More trains, less waiting
STARTING today, train interval times will be shortened on Metro lines 9 and 11 during rush hours.
The Metro’s operator said five new trains will join Line 9, helping to cut interval times.
Like some trains running on lines 3 and 4, the new Line 9 trains offer improved safety, lighting, air conditioning and comfort. Six more trains are being added to Line 11.
With the new trains, the Metro system now has more than 4,000 train compartments.
