New Metro schedule
TRAINS on Metro Line 9 may skip through the Madang Road Station because of the huge visitor volumes to the World Expo 2010 Shanghai site, Metro authorities said yesterday.
Station officials will inform passengers ahead of time through public broadcasting systems if the train won't be stopping at the station. Expo visitors catching trains heading to Songjiang Xincheng Station can get off at Lujiabang Road Station to transfer to Line 8, and enter the site at Yaohua Road Station or Xizang Road S.
Passengers taking trains heading to Yanggao Road M. Station can transfer to Line 7 at Zhaojiabang Road and enter the site at Houtan, Changqing Road, Yuntai Road or Gaoke Road W. stations, officials said.
People should note that only Xizang Road S station leads to the Puxi part of the site, while other stations all lead to the Pudong part of the site.
