No storms for next two days
THERE will be a brief respite from rainstorms today and tomorrow although it will still be plenty hot, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.
The maximum temperature today and tomorrow was forecast to be 33 or 34 degrees Celsius, said Man Liping, one of the bureau's chief service officers. It will be 35 degrees on Thursday with a chance of a thunderstorm.
