One-Day Passes Sell Well
MORE than 30,000 one-day subway passes have been sold since April 24, when the ticket debuted, traffic officials said yesterday.
The subway operator sells an average of about 2,000 tickets a day.
The one-day pass costs 18 yuan (US$2.63) and gives ticket holders unlimited travel on all lines, except for Line 13 which runs inside the Expo site, for 24 hours.
The pass can be purchased at 85 Metro stations as well as at the ticket center of Shanghai Railway Station.
