One-day Metro pass to expire at the year end
THE city's Metro operator reminded people to use their one-day passes before they expire at the end of this month.
About 15,000 such passes have yet to be used.
The operator is still considering whether to issue new one-day passes next year. Two other types of tickets - a multi-day pass and a multi-trip pass in a set period - may also be introduced, but a final decision has not yet been made.
The one-day passes were first issued in April before the World Expo started. They were especially popular with tourists.
A one-day pass costs 18 yuan (US$2.71).
