Plum Rains to dampen city down

IT will start to rain tomorrow and the Plum Rain Season will be under way by next Thursday.
The weekend will be hot and humid with thunderstorms, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
Today it will be cloudy with temperatures ranging between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow's thunderstorms are expected to continue until Monday.
Over the past week, the humidity reached 55 percent and the highest temperature was above 30 degrees.
With the plum rain season nearly here, forecasters say rainfall for the season will be below than average.
