Polluted air likely today
SHANGHAI'S air is likely to be "slightly polluted" this afternoon due to a sandstorm in northern China, the Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center said yesterday.
The sandstorm originated in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is expected to move south and affect east China today. The center said it is keeping a close eye on the sandstorm and will release information about the city's air quality in a timely manner.
