Rail work starts

RAIL workers yesterday began to lay the track for the Shanghai-Hangzhou passenger rail line, a key high-speed railway linking the city with neighboring Zhejiang Province.
The line, which is expected to operate from October, will cut the trip between Shanghai and Hangzhou to 38 minutes.
